Wisdom Supply Company provides plastic-free and zero waste stationary products for schools, individuals and organizations. The company addresses the issue of plastic waste by minimizing or eliminating plastic from being used in products, rather than dealing with problem of how to dispose of plastic. Story

Co-founders Heather Itzla and Nikki Kozlowski met in 2016 through plastic pollution events like beach cleanups and other anti-pollution events. After many years of clean-ups/ data collection/public education, the saw that the amount of plastic produced is overwhelming and is now in the air, food, water we drink, and even in our cells. As parents, they were frustrated with the annual prescription of cheap, disposable plastic supplies, and they saw an opportunity to provide waste-less solutions for their kids’ school. Itzla crowdfunded and stocked each classroom with plastic-free school supplies. TheOur grave concern (obsession) over plastic pollution brought us together in 2016 at numerous plastic pollution events.
