Summary

Tersus Solutions provides a number of circular solutions for textiles and other materials that come from the fashion industry. Tersus offers a full suite of services to close the loop to make textiles circular, including cleaning, repair, rework, resale, upcycling and recycling. The company has developed some cleaning solutions through a water-free liquid CO2 cleaning system. Their repair solutions can range anywhere from from button and zipper replacements to stitching and heat seal repairs for apparel, footwear and gear. Their cleaning system also conserves electricity and water and is designed to preserve microfibers from the clothing that is being cleaned. The company also enables resale by revising and restoring clothing that would otherwise have been deemed unsalvageable. The company also offers a recommerce platform that enables resale for many brands. The company also handles logistics and also offers a takeback/trade-in program to encourage circularity. Finally, when a material can no longer be used, the company recycles, donates or decommissions the item such that any value can be extracted from the material, if possible. The company also offers rework and upcycling as a service if a brand wants to offer those services to its consumers, thereby making upcycled/repaired clothing more accessible to the general public.(Source)
